tulip festival - skagit valley, WA

Original Oil on Canvas. 36 x 36 inch.  Inspired by my first visit to Skagit Valley and Bellingham, WA. What a beautiful trip to see these magnificent flowers in full bloom. The weather was slightly overcast, but no rain. Perfect for "tip toeing through the tulips" as someone once said. Not only were the enormous amounts of tulips in various colors and shapes, there were fields of glowing Daffodils as well.
